Size System
EU Bra Sizes Explained
EU band sizes step in five-centimetre increments (55, 60, 65...) rather than the two-inch increments UK/US use. Cup letters run in a single, non-doubling sequence: A, B, C, D, E, F, G...
What makes this system different
- Because EU cup letters don't double the way UK letters do, an EU "E" is not the same relative position as a UK "E" - always convert through a shared reference rather than assuming matching letters mean matching sizes.
- EU band numbers are a rounded centimetre measurement, not a raw inch conversion, which is why they don't align one-to-one with UK/US band numbers at every step.
- France, Japan and several other markets share this EU cup-letter pattern, even where their band numbers differ.
