Use these charts to compare labels between sizing systems. They provide a practical reference, but a converted label cannot account for differences in brand patterns, cup depth, wire width or fabric stretch.

Cup letters are shown for each system's own sequence. UK, AU and JP use the same relative positions; the US column shows the label our tables treat as primary at that position - brand charts frequently use a different one, especially from DD upward.

Why charts disagree

A brand's own chart is measured against that brand's patterns, not the general system - the two can differ even when both claim the same label.
Some charts describe the finished garment measurement; others describe the body measurement the garment is designed for. The two are not the same number.
Different charts round to different precision, which shifts values right at a size boundary.
Fabric stretch changes how a given body measurement translates to a labelled size.
Style grading (how a pattern scales across sizes) is not identical across a brand's whole range, so a conversion that's accurate at one size can drift at another.

How to use a chart when shopping online

Start from the brand's own chart when it's available, use these general tables only as a fallback, and read our guide to buying a bra online before ordering from an unfamiliar brand or country.
