Bra Type

Strapless Bras

A strapless bra is built to stay in place with no strap support at all, which means the band has to do all the work a band and straps would normally share.

Construction

Bands are firmer than usual, often boned for extra structure, and lined with a grippy material at the top and bottom edges to help prevent slipping.

Common fit challenge

Any band looseness that a strap might otherwise mask on a standard bra becomes immediately obvious here. A strapless bra that slips is very often a band-size or band-firmness issue, not a cup one.
